When an accomplished American corsetiere, H. W. Gossard opened his offices in London's Regent Street.in 1921, he revolutionised English foundationwear. In the 1920s he pioneered front-fastening corsets and throughout the social and fashion changes of in the last eight decades, Gossard have produced lingerie which has appealed to all ages of women, identifying their diverse desires and launching suitable bras and lingerie accordingly.
